Join us on Saturday, November 9 from 2-5 p.m. at the Royal Palm Village Wine Tasting Festival as it brings together hundreds of attendees to sample sommelier selections al fresco at Royal Palm Village Wine & Tapas. The event includes tastings of over 200 wines, a keepsake wine glass, and draft beer from Left Hand Brewery, Colorado. Special wine retail pricing is available to attendees. Tickets are $40 each.

This year marks 30 years of caring for the Child Cancer Fund, working to provide practical, financial, educational and emotional support – including new psychosocial music and animal-assisted therapies – for Northeast Florida families during a difficult childhood cancer diagnosis. The 30th anniversary celebration brings together families, donors and supporters to help raise funds for these deserving families. The event includes a seated dinner, cocktails and a silent auction. The night’s live entertainment will feature international award-winning magician and mentalist Mike D’Urzo. This impressive performer has been named one of the “Top 10 Magicians Worldwide” and has been tapped as “Entertainer of the Year” by numerous organizations.

The 104.5 WOKV Care-a-thon Presented by Duval Asphalt celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024. To commemorate, the event is expanding to a two-day radiothon encompassing all the North Florida Cox Media Group stations – eight radio and three television – to bring together more than one million listeners and thousands of additional supporters. The weeklong digital, social media and radio campaign culminates in a live two-day broadcast from Nemours Children’s Health on Aug. 22-23, including an online silent auction. 100% of the proceeds go to benefit Child Cancer Fund services.
Currently in Northeast Florida, there are around 300 children in active treatment for cancer. On average, around 150 children in the region are diagnosed with cancer every year. For 30 years, Child Cancer Fund has provided these families with practical, educational, financial, and emotional support – including new psychosocial music and animal-assisted therapies – during this difficult time.

The Child Cancer Fund Golf Tournament Presented by Duval Asphalt returns to Jacksonville Golf and Country Club on March 25, 2024. The tournament was established to raise funds and awareness for families in Northeast Florida who are fighting childhood cancer. This event will bring together community and business leaders to support Child Cancer Fund’s 30 years of caring and our mission to provide caring practical, financial, educational, and emotional support – including new psychosocial music and animal-assisted therapies – for families during this difficult time.
The Child Cancer Fund Helicopter Ball Drop, in conjunction with the private New Year’s Day 25th Anniversary Party hosted by Bard McLean, returns Jan. 1, 2024. A helicopter will drop nearly 300 balls over the 14th hole tee box at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club and closest to the target wins.
